The ability to manage projects is a vital skill for all managers. This module is about understanding projects, developing project plans and ensuring projects achieve objectives. You will learn the knowledge and skills required to successfully manage projects and how to monitor and control projects through the delivery phase.

- Identify where projects fit into operational management activities
- Develop an effective project management environment

- Recognise the importance of stakeholder management in a project environment

- Understand and use basic project methodologies and planning tools
- Identify the financial components including risk appraisal, which need to be developed for effective project design and control
- Construct a monitoring and review plan for a project that assesses the impact and achievement of the project
